Ludlow is a picturesque, historic, medieval riverside market town sat on the rivers Lugg and Corve. With nearly 500 listed buildings, it’s imposing 11th century Castle and the largest parish churches in the country, it’s arguably one of the finest towns in England.

Should you be intrigued by our gorgeous neighbouring villages, towns and cities, Leominster, Pembridge, Hereford, Bromyard, Shrewsbury and Telford are all within an easy driving distance.

Bursting with delightful independent, artisan restaurants, quirky bars, tempting cafes, delis and cosy pubs, Ludlow is a real foodies haven. Famed for the many events and festivals that take place throughout the year including the unmissable annual Medieval Christmas Fayre and Ludlow Food and Drink Festival.

Sheltered beneath the Mortimer Forest and Clee Hills, Ludlow is a walkers paradise with incredible nearby areas of outstanding natural beauty just waiting to be explored such as the Longmynd, Caer Caradoc, the Stiperstones and Wenlock Edge.

Hours can be spent exploring the main streets, market, numerous lanes and back alleys all overflowing with independent and unique shops as well as a handful of well known high street stores from antique and curiosity shops, book and craft shops, high end clothes and homeware stores.

And when you just want to sit and marvel in some Shropshire peace and quiet, you can find a spot down at the riverside on the Millennium Green and watch the river flow…
